Phil’s career in web development spans almost 20 years and includes time as a Software Engineer at Verisign, an Open Source Evangelist at British Telecom, and Technology Director at R/GA, where he worked with clients around the world such as Nike, Google, Beats By Dre, and Samsung, to bring engaging and effective experiences to the widest audience possible.

Ire Aderinokun is a frontend web developer and user interface designer from Lagos, Nigeria. She is the Cofounder and COO of BuyCoins (YC S18), a cryptocurrency exchange for Africa. Ire is a Google Expert, specialising in the core frontend technologies HTML, CSS, and Javascript, and has written over 100 articles on these topics on her blog.

Max Stoiber

Max is a JavaScript engineer from Austria. He’s most widely known for being the co-creator of styled-components and the creator of react-boilerplate. He previously worked on open source JavaScript tooling at Gatsby and before that as a React engineer at GitHub after they acquired his startup, Spectrum.

Cassie Evans

Cassie Evans, Lead bestower of animation superpowers, GreenSock

 

Cassie is an international speaker, and creative developer with a background in graphic design and motion design.

She got started with coding back in the days of Myspace and Neopets and is on a mission to make the web more whimsical again.

She’s a massive SVG nerd, owner of the worlds most clacky keyboard, and the lead bestower of animation superpowers at Greensock.

Mark Robbins

Mark Robbins, Software Engineer LMTS, Salesforce

 

Mark Robbins is a software engineer working at Salesforce, specializing in interactive email and accessibility in email. He has given talks about email development across Europe and the US and written many articles for both print and web. Mark is very active in the email community, contributing to open source projects and working with others to define and share new techniques and new best practices for email code. And as a member of the AMP for Email working group, he is working closely with the email clients to shape new technology in email.

Tammy Everts

Tammy Everts, Chief Experience Officer, SpeedCurve

 

Tammy is chief experience officer at SpeedCurve, where she helps companies understand how visitors use their websites, and a co-chair of performance.now(). Tammy has spent the past two decades studying how people use the web. Since 2009, she’s focused on the intersection between web performance, user experience, and business metrics. Her book, Time Is Money: The Business Value of Web Performance from O’Reilly, is a distillation of much of this research. She also co-curates WPO Stats, a collection of performance case studies.
